Haven't played with miqu specifically but I've used mistral-medium through the mistral API pretty extensively and rank it highly, my subjective RP tierlist is something like 4 > 4t > claude-2 > claude-1 > mistral-medium > 3.5 > mistral-small (base mixtral) and of all those medium is the highest ranked which doesn't have annoying filtering (even with jailbreaks 4 and claude sometimes refuse certain scenarios for me)

But I haven't tried any of the mixtral finetunes, I could certainly imagine a RP-specific 8x7 outperforming medium but I don't have the hardware to run that sort of model locally

I don't tend to mix the 'accurate' versions of vtubers and the 'coomer fantasy' versions that exist in my degenerate imagination.

I regularly watch the streams of Towa, Fubuki, Suisei, Okayu, Ayame, etc. and I have a sense for how they actually act on stream - but I can also enjoy very out-of-character AI rp with them and objectify their card/bot forms without a shred of remorse. Because, well, it's all just a fancier version of a daydream and the talent(s) themselves will never know about it (unless they somehow make their way /here/) - I view it kind of like lewd fanart, which is often very out of character as well.

I'll admit when it comes to Ui I've only seen clips of her stream self, and I lust after her model/design/fanart with little 'accurate' context but even if I did watch her I don't think thirsting over a chuuba in one's fantasies and actually watching them/knowing what they're like are mutually exclusive, is my point.
