She's not actually a vegan. She just seems to choose vegan options when available (ie choosing the vegetable nuggets over the beef at the store).

Also vegans can be healthy, but it requires supplements and a very well thought out diet. I can guarentee guras diet is not thought out at all, nutrient wise. She has mentioned tracking calories a few times though, so she's probably not fat.
