Alright so how it works:
In most of the more liberal states and or cities in general, people are more gun adverse. Exceptions exist like Vermont, low crime liberal/lolsperg state (see demographics). In said liberal cities, illegal firearms tend to be more of a problem, see Chicago the place with the most gun crime and gun control. The more conservative states tend to have less gun control and more stuff like open carry, like Texas. The funny knock-on effect of everyone in the room having a gun is that you tend not to start trouble or perform criminal activity because there's no point if you're going to end up as swiss cheese in seconds.
