Mori is so quick to adapt to the players. Gura's by far and away the best RPer, but Mori is still rolling with the punches with no issue. Why have we ever doubted her?

Shikai: Shihyoshi (死拍子, "Dead Rhythms")
Release Command: "Lock it down"

Although it takes on the appearance of a stereotypical shinigami's scythe, Shihyoshi's true power is that of a bass, combining the kinetic energy from wielding it in combat with Mori's own reiatsu and killing intent, converting them into low-frequency sound waves which build up in its curved blade until she releases them all at once.

Building up these vibrations takes a considerable amount of time and effort swinging the zanpakuto, and the wanton destruction from releasing the energy makes collaborating directly with fellow Shinigami difficult, but the sheer force is enough to disorient foes from great distances and can even vaporize a target outright at point blank.

Bankai: Majiyoru Shihyoshi (蠱夜 死拍子, "Cursed Night Dead Rhythms")
An expansion of Shihyoshi's energy conversion ability, breaking its prior limitations for charging and discharging. While Bankai is active, Mori can create waves that affect both light and sound, and shape them in the form of extra hands, a gigantic skull, or even a virtual doppelganger to assault her foes from all angles and transform the battlefield into a hellish landscape.

In addition, this energy no longer needs to come in contact with her scythe blade, and Mori can build up power using any source that comes into contact with her spiritual pressure - even using her opponent's own resolve to defeat her to as fuel for Majiyoru Shihyoshi.
