dropped almost all holos including my oshi a few months ago. it wasn't a single event in particular that caused me to, i just started feeling more distant from my oshi over time until eventually it felt like she had distanced herself from her audience compared to before. there weren't really any major changes so i think this was just my own perception shifting, but once that feeling of infatuation for my oshi settled down i became disillusioned with corporate chuubas as a whole and realized of course they're going to feel impersonal and emotionally distant since they're corporate entities. since then i've been watching more indie and small corpo chuubas and while i currently still don't think i really have an oshi i've found several chuubas i enjoy and feel closer to now
