Would you mind if I delved into the Founding War again at some point in the future? I can assure you it won't be anything ambitious like a pitched battle and I'll run the subject of my thoughts by you in the event I get the urge to write about it.
If you don't mind my asking, do you currently have a name for the official Hooman language? I have the language referenced in a rough draft or two but didn't see anything in the loredoc in regards to what to call the tongue.

Funny you should mention that. I've actually got an idea on the function of the standard Hooman family but didn't get more than a paragraph in. If you want, I can send the points I have written down.

I'm down to change the name to Spring Festival. Rolls off the tongue better. My original idea for it taking place in the week leading up to November 11 is because that was Mumei's "four stream appearances" day, but due to its proximity to the Day of Souls and Ghosts I can get behind it taking place in spring instead of autumn. Will the 17th day of the 4th month work?
Hmm... I actually drew quite a bit from Roman triumphal marches when I wrote about the parades. Might have to do some more research into the matter.
Something I forgot to write down was the idea that those marching would wear deliberately antiquated attire to emphasize how they're exaggerating accounts of the past, and that the crested helm (which I will edit to point out was never worn in battle by any military officer if you don't mind I keep it in) would be the given example of this.
In any case, I'm definitely going to put the (now translated to the common tongue) rentry through some revisions to accommodate your input.


Also, while I was away, it occurred to me that there might be a few things worth adding or editing alongside you guys' critiques and observations. Thanks for looking through it!
