Goddam there's times I wish I could be her platonic man-meido. I'd kill to be right next to her, even if it's just to keep her house clean and cook her fresh meals throughout the day. There's truly nothing worse than developing an impressive culinary repertoire, and having nobody to share it with. I'd be content with making her life easier, just to be closer to her.
