Her neutral is too honest and her average damage overall is too low.

Sure her setplay in the corner is cracked but you need to actually work to get the opponent in the corner. She doesn't have a meterless DP and her jabs are 6f instead of 5f making it harder for her to mash out of pressure. Her jabs are also quite stubby so when in range of something like Ayame 2M she kind of just has to hold it and RPS when Ayame goes for a grab.

Her oki, while strong, is also prone to being RPS'd by DPs/wakeup supers because a lot of times she will need to open with jab to get the opponent in blockstun.

Above all Sora's execution for her advanced combos and setups is much harder than the rest of the cast. She has the most dashes, microdashes, and delays in her combos out of everyone. Fucking up the combo means you also fucked up setting up oki.

Meanwhile some other characters don't care about corner they will just rape you anywhere. Aki rapes Sora's neutral as her projectiles come out faster and she can just teleport behind Sora on reaction to Sora throwing a projectile out and punish her. Aki's 3M also low profiles wakeup super so Sora doesn't have many reversal options except mashing 236S in blockstun and hoping the input buffer doesn't fuck you over by giving you shortcut 2S or 6S instead.

TL;DR: Sora just requires too much work for too little gain. It's no problem if you are playing this kusoge casually just to do things you think are cool but if you are actually trying to be "competitive" then there's way better characters that will let you win more easily against higher level players.
