Even when people are simply stirring up drama they usually have a reason for the sides they choose to stand on. When one of /pol's resident thread celebrities got arrested for murder recently it kinda dispelled any narratives that he was just posting weapon making guides and threats against the federal government "as a joke." A lot of the shitposters you interact with regularly are just airing out their genuine insanity in the safest way they know how.
