I think it's cool to have those sorts of things for the girls who want it, but I think they're going overboard. When every EN is expected to be in Holofes, the New Years thing and have a Birthday live (and probably another Holoconnect) it's just overkill. These girls are spending weeks of time on this stuff and tons of time in Japan.

How come when big triple A games feature gay characters it feels like blatant virtue signaling but in Deltarune it's just wholesome regardless of the gender of the characters and doesn't distract from the experience?

I love when Fauna gets into games like this. Her best game streams are the ones where she can really get emotionally invested into the story.

Fauna says her favorite part of being a Holo is streaming, and the idol stuff just pulls attention away from that. I'd have several more weeks of Fauna streams if she didn't have to spend a bunch of time learning idol dances and singing in Japan and then getting sick and stressed and needing to recover. A little bit of idol stuff on the side is fine, but I feel like the amount EN has been obligated to do as of late has been way too much and it's been having a negative impact on the girls who aren't performers.

I've never used the dodge command in WOH and I had a 100% save file at one point.

It's likely just by default. Fauna is one of the few ENs who has a personality even capable of being competitive.

Fauna doesn't really show weakness, which is both a flaw and a virtue. Part of relating to someone is seeing them as a normal person like yourself, and relating to their struggles and shortcomings. Fauna doesn't drop that barrier to preserve the, "I'm your cute anime onee-san" vibe, so she creates a certain level of distance because of that. But that distance is a result of her constant positivity and desire to create a consistent, enjoyable environment during her streams, so it can actually be appealing depending on what you're looking for.

I enjoy Fauna quite a lot, but like yourself she's not my absolute favorite that I love above all else. Personally, I adore Mumei because she's flawed and open about her feelings even when they are negative but at the same time she tries her best and draws a lot of strength from her Hoomans. Ame has her own issues, but they make her more relatable in the same way.

Fauna is an atheist. She mentioned onstream that nothing awaits you after death but returning to the void of nonexistence. Some of her family must have been Catholic, though, since she said that whenever someone says, "may the Force be with you" she wants to reply with, "And with your spirit" which is a common response during Catholic masses.
