This isn't unique to v-tubing -- people have romanticized powerful or notable people for eons;
nonetheless it is particularly more serious and condemned in this space. The woman who romanticizes a boy band moves on, the man who finds a singer sexy moves on -- people enjoy them, both in 'normal' ways and sexual ways, without it letting consume them in shame or complete dedication, mono-focused sexuality.

Yet in the V-Tuber space the past haunts of the blatant sexualization of streamers and manipulation of fans persists into this new medium, like a rotting corpse reaching such levels of decomposition as to infect the floors above. But this haunt is nothing more than a false notion. The blatant sexualization of 'e-thots' is nowhere to be found in clothed anime girls. Their sexualization is as natural as the rest of the world, not that of a hookers. Maybe even less so, for the average viewer, as they show no real skin of any sort.

And of exploitation -- how is a kind person having fun as exploitative as the bait held by over-sexualized streamers luring you in with their most private sensual details and ever greater access to them for ever greater amounts of money, with calls of love and desire? The two are nowhere near comparable. An anonymous person cannot lure you into false pretensions of relationship nearly the same way a real person with a real face and a known location can. One is entertainment, the other a trick on the brain.
And I'm sick of this past haunting the new medium. It exists for no reason other than the belief that anything built on the foundations of the old must be infected by the same spirits and energy of the old. Ridiculous over simplification and faux-conviction.

Women, and streamers, as a whole, cannot be defined by a minute amount of devious low life almost suicidally destructive sexually promiscuous formerly abused women catering to broken low life pitiful 'simps'.
Neither should the most vocal members of this new medium who confirm the preconceived notions and expectations be glorified as proof of this fake reality. They should be shunned as the minority of idiots they are -- Clover and Niji have found out the hard way almost nobody cares about the talents maintaining the image of beautiful seiso idols with intact hymens. The lack of them being vapid whores is what matters, not the lack of them existing as sexual members of greater humanity.
