You fuckers are the cancer, the recent trends in the vtuber scene are just things reverting back to a pre-HoloEN state, where vtubers can be whatever they want, and it's triggering the fuck out of tourists who only care about conflict.

/vt/ is a complete shithole because vtubing attracted cultural parasites who just use it as a console war instead of the entertainment it was supposed to be. Every single hobby inevitably gets these people, the ones who were never interested in the joy and pleasure of bonding with like-minded individuals over a shared hobby. They just use it to shit on others and create conflict as a meaningless way of asserting dominance in their tiny corner of the internet. The brand is appealing to tourists precisely because it's inoffensive and pure, they're never going to change that. You can choose to ignore everything else going on in vtubing and just keep enjoying GFE all you want anon, there's room in vtubing for any kind of vtuber, whether it's ryona ASMR or GFE or Apex autists.

Instead of getting mad or afraid that some Twitter warrior is coming to "ruin" vtubing you should question who convinced you that other people having fun is an existential threat to your happiness, and why they want you to think this way.
