There is when you know more people are still tuning in. If it's just the cull then the trend line should still show the same curve, just lower. Proportionally as more people join then the same proportion that made it through early in the stream should still make it through late in the stream.

For what it's worth here is a normal, unculled stream and the pattern of behavior you expect before the cull without capping.
