So Leap is just a camera basically (its not but its the easiest way to explain), that you put on the desk in front of you or strap to your chest, and it tracks your hands through the camera. It tends to lose tracking though and make mistakes, which is why Froot's arm is fucking up (Snuffy uses Leap for her 3D hand tracking as well and has the same issues).

You can use Vive trackers and strap them to your hands for tracking as well, which does not have these issues. However they are very expensive, and you need base stations with them as well which is more money on top of them.

SlimeVR are cheap trackers that use your wifi connection and good tech to track anything, they don't need base stations as well. They aren't as good as base station trackers but wouldn't spaz out as much as Leap does. SlimeVR is currently in development, hopefully available next year at some point.
