I'm gonna let you in on a little secret my man, you've gotta have two things: Charisma and Audacity.
You've also got to understand what kind of audience you're showing up to and how you can influence them with your contentz.
If you can't figure out what kind of audience you're trying to entertain and how you'll be breaking into the market -- then it's over for you, ya dig..?

>Charisma
Gotta be out there and be able to make lasting impressions within the first few minutes -- no, seconds of them watching your stream.

Some sort of memorability attached to your character.
Try playing into your surface-level gimmicks first. You need to make yourself memorable by having a simple character on the surface, since most people would skip past males -- you have a small time-frame to make an impression (Young men ain't looking for a boyfriend. And being a buddy makes no money.)
You gotta show people up front what your deal is, what mask and theme they'll be staring at at first, before they see the real deal underneath.
You gotta be noticed before people will entertain your attempts of entertaining them.

>Audacity
Limp-wristed men get no respect from anyone, feel me? You couldn't even touch me! Embrace who you are and the character you play -- and never back down.

This'll be who you are for a few months and, if you're lucky, maybe a year. If you refuse to play the character (an extension of you) to your fullest potential, you'll be doing yourself a disservice.
Be bold, be brazen even -- but don't forget your audience and what they're looking for from you, and don't forget that, to some extent they don't know completely what they want, until you show it to them.

It's a good thing you've got a small following already, maybe tease them a bit on what you're working on.
Since it might be jarring for them if you suddenly become a vtuber if you haven't shown much of your character or personality through what you've drawn or funny little things you've sketched.

And don't forget that you'll always have people here to turn to, anon
