My older brother was a Talent Agent in the 2000's and was a former PR manager, he's very redpilled about celebrity bs and always mocks me for watching vtubers (boomer fk won't understand 11 years age gap after all), but we had a very interesting conversation earlier regarding root communities.

I talked to him earlier about everyone malding about Calli and was laughing at the same time because of how funny that shit was. Out of all the people I know he was the most intelligent, so I was kind of surprised when he said "That's a bad look for her, they should do something about that." I was confused because I always believed the meme the, "it's just a bunch of schizos, nothing will happen, she'll be fine"

He then elaborated to me how they used to promote talents, and handle controversies. The following is basically my understanding of his boomer rant. When it comes to talent and making money out of them, you don't look at their talent exactly, if talent was all there is to it then why do we have so much talentless hacks? The reason is simple, it's the personality and the talent that mixes together to form a story (narrative), those are what the fans come for, those are what the fans pay for, holding a piece of that story (cd, album, merchandise etc.). That's why they want the talent to succeed, and why they gladly throw their money at them, look at Kanye people love him boh because he's talented in their eyes, but especially because he's a real OG rags to riches. So this vtuber fella you're talking about, sounds like her supporters are buying the same story, and If I was her manager or producer I'd be working my ass off so that image is preserved.

I know it sounds like I'm sucking my bros dick, but I just really wanted to share this gay discussion we had earlier, since it implies that the more Calli ruins her image, it doesn't matter how much proof she has, she'll never fly again.
