It's.... a mixture of fuck ups, embarrassment, spaghetti spilling, and trying to make Mouse feel better in an unusual way. Most folks wouldn't try to talk through the situation and just let it go until someone just recovers, but Connor obviously comes from a school where making up for your mistakes requires effort.

I'm not going to fault the guy too much. He fucked up and tried to make amends and may have actually helped Mouse feel a little better knowing she has someone who really thinks she's amazing, even tho Mouse really wants to just be treated normally. Inevitably it is up to Mouse to determine whether she wants to remain friends with him, and since they're collabing again on Friday I would say she has forgiven him. I'm not going to be mad for her sake when she's not mad herself.
