I wonder if they could do something similar with scrapped designs/models. Maybe Cover has some laying around that they can't use. Like, I'm reminded of two designs people speculated over for a long ass time. Pic related was one of them.

This is a scrapped design he did for Cover a long time before Irys. It looks perfectly fine and closer to how Irys looks like now. I don't know why the fuck he missed the mark that badly with her first design.
It really feels like he tried to experiment with her than just drawing normally.
