Am I supposed to care that a real woman that exists and has done stuff, is behind the avatar? On top of that, why would fishman turn down a girl who's demonstrably got the necessary skillset to be a vtuber?
I'm sure every single Anon posting in these threads has some weird embarrassing shit tied to them, that would come up if they became a vtuber, too. Drama farm if you find out Runie's done shit like fucking killed somebody or raped a child, something criminal that makes her legitimately dangerous and indicates she shouldn't have fans, like if it's ever confirmed Elira was the one to bully Selen into attempting suicide, otherwise I'm gonna keep enjoying her streams.

Pretty much this. If there's nothing in your area then start a group. There's one lady who started a meetup group where it was literally just
>Hey, I have nothing planned. Just show up at this coffee shop at this time, and after a bit of waiting for other people, we're going to just walk around and chat
At first barely anyone showed up, but now there's so many people doing so that she had to set a limit

Even as an antisocial shut in loser, at 30, I can attest to what Anon's saying, too. I didn't even like going to fighting game locals, or playing them, that much, but I naturally wound up knowing a few guys there, and forming a group to play Melty Blood/SF6 weekly with. I'm currently set back by IRL stuff, but the card game shop I went to a few times, I also started getting along with people there pretty quickly, once I pulled out my deck and started playing. The one good thing about our shitty atomized culture, is that the people who actually do show up to IRL stuff are also hungry for social interaction, too.
