I spent maybe 15 minutes researching just how deadly cannon fire is to get it accurate. I thought it would sink an enemy ship in an instant. Turns out the most it probably does is stop the enemy ship from moving, and killing whoever gets hit.
Regardless, part of why I like writing is I kinda learn new things in my attempt to make it "realistic" in whatever sense I can.

I'm glad they exist but there's different ways to be noticed by Shiori and paypigging seems to be one of the last ones other than having your name read out, then being told to look after yourself first.

I dunno though, at my late 20s going into my early 30s, I still hold hands with my younger sister sometimes if she's going through some tough shit. I still tell her I love her and she still kisses me on the cheek when we see each other.
When we were in our teens we'd stay in each others rooms depending on what we wanted to do because I had most of the books and she'd have the consoles. I'd just lay in bed with her playing FFXII while she watched and bitched about how Vaan is not the protagonist and should never have been.

Before I got into cosplaying, my name in mmos was BlackFlame Master, or any variation of black and flame including Japanese and Chinese variations. I was in drama class so I could play off the chuuni as "being dramatical"
Once I got into cosplaying I could disguise my chuuni with a costume.

!!!!!! I thought so!! Book club buds, book club buds!! Can absolutely relate to obligations getting in the way, but I hope you enjoy OM&M, it's short but beautiful. SFC has been really empowering from a funny autistic Scottish lasse's perspective on autism and I do wonder if Shiori would enjoy it. I'm nearly at the end but restarting TWUBC soon has me motivated so I've been cramming it in on breaks when I can.
