Red riding woods is OK, it's the first game by EMMM and should take you 2 hours to beat. You don't need to play it since it has very light lore relating to black souls but it's an enjoyable romp if you like the aesthetics
After BS try out Fear and Hunger it's a gem that not a whole lot of people talk about imo
