So there's a study out there that shows that more more feminine people tend to use the ellipsis "..." more in online chatrooms. (Gender mismatches under nominal ellipses, 2014).

Quote: "ellipses are, much like qualifiers, used as an index of uncertainty. More feminine personality archetypes are less bold and confident in their statements, driven primarily by increased introversion and reduced dominance"

So why not put that to the test here? Why not determine how feminine kronies are, relative to the other EN fanbases, by using the use of "ellipses" as a proxy?

Here, I simply used "..." as a key word and calculated the number of "..."/post in each of the EN generals. To ensure that posting style was representative of the general, I used a minimum sample of N = 100 posts and at least 20 IPs. Also, since this was just preliminary analysis, I only focused on the council generals.

The raw data:

>/infinity/; current thread
111 ellipses
443 posts, 43 IPs
0.25ellipses/post, 2.5 ellipses/person

>/who/: past thread (21310250)
49 ellipses
361 posts, 47 IPs
0.13 ellipses/post, 1.04 ellipses/poster

>/nasa/: current thread
5 ellipses
102 posts, 24 IPs
0.05 ellipses/post, 0.21 ellipses/poster

>/uuu/: current thread
34 ellipses
273 posts, 63 IPs
0.125 ellipses/post, 0.43ellipses/poster

>/rrat/: current thread
11 ellipses
127 posts, 36 IPs
0.09 ellipses/post, 0.3 ellipses/poster

So if we look at this, we can see immediately that /infinity/ has far more ellipses, ellipses/post, and ellipses/IP. I'll turn to ellipses/IP and ellipses/post because it's the most informative and damning variable here.
Just look at that graph. Jesus fuck.

Anyways, from that I can conclude that /infinity/ is composed of extremely feminine posters. That is the most important takeaway: this general is FILLED WITH FEMBOYS.
This is just preliminary visualization, more modeling on this later.
