Here, Sayu is talking about the company. She has mentioned many times how poorly they treat their employees, while also praising her previous coworkers for their talent. The "they unjustly fired me" part is the lie here because she has admitted multiple times that she messed up and it was the best for everyone that they parted ways.

The thing is, getting fired is one thing, and "how" she got fired is another thing altogether. But let's continue, shall we?

This is just a continuation of her previous statement. She doesn't like the company but acknowledges that she messed up and could have tried harder. Even if Nijisanji is a difficult company to work for, there are plenty of people who seem happy to be there, so Sayu thinks it would have been smarter to try to play ball and just keep her head down, and maybe at least that way she would have made some friends.

Because improving rigging doesn't really matter as long as you meet a minimum standard. The vtuber and their fans brag about it during the reveal stream and a few people post about "how come major corpos don't have this???", then everybody stops caring until the next time. Showcasing the height of the current technology is flashy, but far less important than the skills of the entertainers behind it. Nobody stays for the model's technical quality.
Corpos would also face problems with apparent favouritism if one talent got a giant upgrade while others lagged behind, and giving a giant upgrade to everyone at the same time is too much effort to be worth it, so more gradual and easy progress it is. From a more cynical perspective, corpos rolling out improvements more incrementally and in a controlled fashion is more flexible when working it into marketing strategies and timetables as well.
