The talents are absolutely nothing without the fan's support. It's an entertainment industry. The company doesn't matter and just exist to promote the talents, who entice the fans to give them their money.
There's countless examples of rapid decline due to pissing off the fanbases. Just look at NijiEN for example. For an even more extreme example, just look at Finana who was one of the daisenpai with an extremely bright future and came out of the gate with fantastic numbers... But she missed out on going to antarctica with lazulight and cries about how people no longer draw or support her after she treated them like shit.

I have zero problems with content creators either deciding to not appeal to the coomers, or to go all-in, or to even start off coomerbaiting and then change it up later. I just have no sympathy when said creator then bitches about losing the money and popularity that comes from their decisions. Like you KNEW the actions would have consequences. I respected the hell out of Vox for taking a stand to stop doing it as his main content, only for him to come crawling back a bit later, which again, is fine I guess since his community is stupid enough to keep lapping it up, but at least he's feeding them (or was at least, before he stopped streaming).
I respect the grift, but you gotta at least play the game if you want the reward. Finana wanted all of the money and popularity without actually doing the actions associated with keeping it.

They don't have a future in the west. The absolute best case scenario that doesn't involve nijisanji EN dissolving and getting roped into the JP branch is them slowly losing fans as they get absolutely fucked by the algorithm noticing people unsubbing. Cons don't want to be anywhere near them. Sponsors might even dry up except for the most toxic of brands like RAID. Merch vendors might even be wary about them in the future. Their ccv and superchats are drying up. It probably won't be super quick, but eventually they will ALL be Finana.
