that wraps up day 1 of the DARK 2nd anniversary celebration! i hope you enjoyed it, altho like i mentioned in the stream, it was really more of a history lesson than a "rivalry rebirth"

DARK is focused on hololive fanbases, mascots, other management, graduated holos, as well as holostars, active and graduated. a lot as happened despite what the streams are labeled as, we're effectively 18 streams into the 5th season, and the next stream is the 102nd episode overall but the current major plot points are:
>Matsurisu (under the guise of Matsurieza) is corrupting various other fanbases and mascots to join his evil faction. The Gachikoiger, lead by Rosetai, are doing what they can to stop him. A FUCKING MONKEEEEEE has been running amok and now also seems to be under Matsurieza's influence.
>35p, taking after his brother who faught in Holofighter, has been having matches against industry legends, jobbing every time.
>Alton the guy who mentioned his OC in thread and was the spark that lead to DARK. between season 3 and ? had a brief stint in UFC, and has been taking wrestling more seriously. he's trying to break past his reputation as "That jobber from Jobber Hell" and is working to prove himself. quite so, he's actually won, and then subsequently lost a couple championships, but was recently endorsed by the likes of Stack, as well as Kiryu Coco.
>Egg, the Kiara anti and yet one of the most over guys in the fed, managed to get a hold of the Narrative Championship, and has done everything in his power to keep hold of it the entire season. He's had an extensive rivalry with R.Rat this season, but R.Rat has been unable to come out on top. Egg leads a faction called the "Eggcord", featuring himself, Big Follows a representation of Chat bots, and Rosa Ushiromiya Fauna/Sapling anti
>Coco has been working part time in DARK, occupied with her taxi driving job. her recent matches have been against her kohai in HIAC ironman matches.
>Rushia has been revealed to be hired by/working for WWE, which ties into two other plot points:

that's about everything so far this season. not everything comes into play every stream, sometimes none of that at all gets explored at anything deeper than surface level.

i don't mess with stats too often, outside of the personality traits, which directly influence some of the things the AI do, in 2k19 and 20 at least. havent changed them too too much in 2k22 yet. one thing OP suggested changing is both signature/finisher/momentum gain to slow in your match , makes the matches fall more in line with pacing/length as 2k20. it did make a difference for sure
