It makes me kind of feel embarrassed to see Pika’s old live chats because they were 99% Japanese and now all of those guys left because she panders to EOPs hard now. I think it’s a sign of what’s going to happen to vtubing in general, we EOPs are eventually going to force Japanese out from a hobby that was started by Japanese for Japanese.

Does Pikamee pander to EOPs a little too much? Back in the day her chat was mostly JP bros and she would speak in Japanese uninterrupted for minutes at a time. Very little self translating. I guess targeting JAPANESE chuubas to JAPANESE people isn’t profitable anymore.
