Yeah more or less.
To explain the electric coil head does reduced stab damage due to the down arrow but normal slash damage.
Her handle, the dagger handle does both slash and stab damage. You want to try and get one that only does slash damage since your stab damage is reduced. like the electric coil stick hand in this case.
There are some weapons where the slash and stab damage are = so its fine to use for this handle. you just want to avoid the down arrows.
