Since it's language thread i'll ask my stupid question here. How do learn english properly? I picked it up through shitposting and media consumption but very often struggle with fairly basic shit. Is there any kind of proverbial "red book" for english learners to chew through and instantly get better? Oniontax for dumb question attached.

It's a high skill/high luck game, it's possible to be somewhat consistent and compete in this.
Luck factor brings the hype for normies - big plays, big throws, big upsets, rng swinging balance scale all around, people love to watch shit like this.
If everything was about pure competition, arena shooters and starcraft would be still at the top of popularity, but they are not.
