It's really overall everything feels busted and the more I listen to her lately the harder and harder it is for me to reconcile Lamy and a Lamy which would do /become/ content in any of the potential forms we've mentioned over the various threads. It almost feels wrong to think of her in this way now.

Regardless I personally think he should be given an out this one time, but the key point I wanted to make is that the suggestions so far give fund owners to much power. You will create a system where fund owners cheat the shareholders out of money and walk away scot free,
If you want to fix the system even just a little, rather than making it easy to destroy your shareholders by sending the fund negative then walking away with an easy profit and a sparkling brand new fund, make the funds a little bit stricter. Make the minimum starting shares 10k and have a locked in buffer of 10% liquid that is unspendable, basically it only exists to deal with sold shares. Of course I am sure everyone can come up with even better options, but what we should be looking at is ways to make a proper system, rather than a bunch of exploitable escape options for fund owners that leave shareholders at their mercy.

NTA, but the definition of addiction is that it's a detriment to your life in some way. Lamy happily day drinks her days away, but she doesn't get hung over and has no issue staying sober when she wants to. She's a successful Hololive member with good relationships to the other girls. An alcoholic isn't just someone who drinks a lot of booze, or every sommelier would be considered an alcoholic. Lamy is just a massive nerd for alcohol and loves every part of the process from growing the rice for sake to fermenting and bottling.

I don't think Mori qualifies either, though she does drink too much on occasion when she's stressed. But that's still not at a habitual level which would place her worse off than other people

Lamy is an especially cute drunk, so people are more than happy to cater to her (technically not an) addiction. 5th Gen deciding what theme park to go to for one of their celebration trips based mostly on which park Lamy could buy booze in was hilarious. Especially so because when she got thirsty she bought two beers (not even her favorite type of drink) and chugged both of them to "save time" so she wouldn't have to line up again.

I don't have an ETA on the next chapter because I'm always jumping around to multiple WIPs, and I'm also considering pulling a GB Watson Anon by writing multiple chapters in advance so that I don't regret taking the story down a specific path and can easily retcon shit. Lamy does. She was pretty frank about it when she was having throat issues that she was considering dropping it to ease her pain. She gave her Yukimin explicit permission to stop watching her if they disliked her because of the change in voice. She never ended up doing it, but obviously it was pretty serious.
