As an ASMR veteran, I'm still astounded by it's quality, effectiveness, and intimacy. Especially the intimacy, because she's intimate, but not in the context of her doing an actual roleplay like most ASMR, she is just being herself, her intimate self, directly with us, and I find that remarkable. Nearly all japanese ASMR is 100% ear pick shoved into ear over and over and over again and nothing else. Those damn japanese ear cleaning sticks scratching... I listen to a fuckload of ASMR, mostly western, but Gura's ASMR is the single best most immersive, most affectionate piece of ASMR I've ever heard. Sure there's a couple mistakes, and there's the echo problem which has been fixed, and the heartbeat thing didn't work, but my god do I tingle, and I get a chub everytime she bites the ears. Not being able to speak moonrunes filters me from Okayu's ASMR, but people that specifically like Gura's ASMR (god it was good) swear by what Okayu does. Her non-member ASMR didn't do much for me either. Understanding the situation that is being roleplayed is important to be able to feel that warm affectionate sensation on top of the tingles.
