I remember when I played I hoarded basically everything that wasn't nailed down and brought back to my little apartment in Balmora. I would just throw it all on the floor because there wasn't enough boxes and the game engine was one of the first ones to keep track of item positions long term.

Eventually the game said FUCK YOU and put all my floor axes and floor swords and floor armor in this stupid brown bag in the middle of the room and the game called it "overflow loot bag". Apparently every room in the game can only remember around 256 objects. Any new ones go in the bag when you leave.

Well, I didn't like that at all. It felt like the game was mocking me. You couldn't get rid of it. It just sat there, in the middle of the room among my beautiful collection. This brown little bag. In the middle of the floor. Where my swords should be.
I moved to a different city after that.
