The Gigacuck narrative is very funny to me, because she didn't actually show more engagement that usual, it just became something that is considered a fact in here because no one watched that stream (I can't blame them). It was just unfortunate timing because it followed the objectively shitty Gura Cuphead collab.
As for Milky Queen, well, they're RL friends and they go way back. It's like criticizing Flare for having amazing chemistry with Patra or Suisei with Toko or Towa with Nose and Sio (RIP). Remember that GAMERS was also born like this, they're FBK's friends.
The "engagement and enthusiasm" thing is a delicate topic, because she radically improved lately and her bad collabs were born from other circumstances (her autism with games see >>7975257, her irritating at times stubborness over technical problems or RL shit) and not from her lack of "care" in Hololive, she's perfectly capable of having good collabs.
