Schizotraz, where the unwanted get fixed

The order in the nation of /infinity/ has been endangered multiple times. Not by foreign enemies, but by local ones. Kronies who were born and grew up alongside their brethren. Kronies who tasted the sacred elixir and witnessed the blessings of the Kronissiah in their own skin. And yet, some Kronies can't help it but to turn against their own kin. They spit on the holy doctrine and slander the scribes. They poison the minds of the simple-minded and try to replace the commandments with their own blasphemous interpretations of the scriptures. These heretics cannot be called Kronies anymore and thus they have received the shameful moniker of "schizos".

Anyone who disrecpects the teachings of the Kronissiah must be mentally unwell and because of this, the criminals who act against her doctrines get labeled as shizofrenic. Truth be told, the area of mental illness is still widely misunderstood among the Kronie scholars. Doctors for the mind in /infinity/ are very few and lacking in knowledge.

At the northwest of the main Kronie land there is a small and reclusive island. This is the place where the Schizotraz Sanitarium for Correction was built. But make no mistake, this isn't a hospital. Its tall walls and numerous watchtowers let its visitors know they won't be coming out, at least not unchanged. There's a wide variety of schizos who end up in this complex, from thiefs to infidels and even politic prisoners. Anyone who endangers the order within the Kronie society will be sent here and will be corrected one way or another.

The doctors like to try and experiment with new methods for the "therapies" of their patients. The therapies consist of in a wide array of gruesome physical tortures that have left the doctors with more knowledge about the human body than advancements in the psychological field. However, in their search for understanding behavioral manipulation, the doctors have come up with treatments using extracts of Snake Fang and sensory deprivation. Sometimes even the enforcer guards that watch over the Sanitarium join the doctors to treat the patients. The continuous consumption of Kronii Milk has left guards with an increased libido. Their particular skills have proven to be useful when treating the schizos. Sexual abuse is used to make the patients cooperative and to keep entertained the bored guards. What happens inside the walls of Schizotraz is something the Kronie populace does not care about and something the government chooses to remain ignorant about. Unfortunately many schizos don't survive the treatments but the ones who do, become a valuable workforce in mines. However the successfully corrected patients are not very talktative. It is theorized to be a side effect of the therapy. More research is needed.
