This is actually true, even in this thread Kyo's first month had a bunch of people saying they were ready to hate him but were surprised at how likable and hardworking he turned out to be, they found his determination to stream despite his terminal illness respectable, they could tell he was eager to learn more about the company and so on and so forth.
It's honestly quite depressing how far Kyo has fallen since then. He really had the potential to be the best in Iluna. There are others in Iluna who actually have shown that growth and dedication to learning, so I suppose it's not a complete loss.

Hold up. So Hex himself is a victim of sexual assault and Zaion decided she would still rather get fired than, you know, maybe just apologize and not make rape jokes ever again? Jesus H. Christ. The more I learn about this the more I realize she was deadwood that needed to be severed.

So let me get this straight. People started attacking Kyo mercilessly because they thought he was shitting on Zaion. Even though the tweet in question had nothing to do with her, and her fans just assumed it did for some reason. But just in case that wasn't enough, he went out of his way to address it on stream and say people were misunderstanding. And instead of reflecting on themselves and admitting they made a mistake, people just doubled down harder, denied reality, and even started making up things that don't exist. The lengths to which people will go just to avoid admitting they were wrong. It's terrifying. Feels like people are just really desperate to get rid of Kyo to the extent they don't realize how bad this makes them look. Calling someone a bad person doesn't really work when you don't have anything to back that up.
And that's not getting in to how suspicious it is that Zaion was basically the most hated member of XSOLEIL yet suddenly after she gets suspended she's got thousands of rabid fans willing to burn down all of Nijisanji to save her. Mind you, I personally like her, but it definitely feels more like outsiders are jumping into this and treating her as a front in a greater war, rather than out of any fondness for Zaion herself.
