On an impersonal level
>She likes RPGs and the same kind of games I play.
>She's into Japanese culture
>She doesn't have a huge time gap on her normal chat
>She doesn't mind backseating
>She's fun to cheer for because you can tell she cares.
On a personal level:
I've been saving up to make an expedition to Japan, and I've been afraid of failing my ultimate goal. She's got a cultured sense of humor and if I could find someone that is THAT well versed in Japanese I know I could be successful. Even logistically, our careers don't bump into each other so we wouldn't get in each others way.
She's immune to globalhomo. News becomes American news. Japanese news. Australian news. Etc. Being of a global mind is pretty solid inoculation.
She likes cats. I have cat. It just works out.
She's a safe crush because her focus is Europe/JP and I'm in America so I won't get flustered cheering her on like a silly goofy person.
Also voice changer or not she's really sweet to listen to and I love that she's chasing her dreams in one way or another. I want to see her succeed.
