I have before them, but not since their debut, so I kind of agree. It does feel like a date.
Doesn't help that the one I did the most watchalongs with was Senchou, who would explicitly play into it. When people would tell her to start the movie already because she's been yapping for 30 minutes before the watchalong, she would say "you can't be like that, you have a girl over at your place and you're hurrying to watch the movie? what about foreplay?"
