People wants to hear Ms. Piggy to talk about her relationship with Kermit the Frog, her love for makeup and jewels and couldn't care less about how much clam the person inside is sucking or not sucking.

Vtubers go a little further than that, sometimes it is cool to know about "Marine" sister and her woes but there is an absolute limit to where that goes, and nobody really gives, for the most part, a fuck about the meatbag flapping her lips to give the vtuber a soul.

That's exactly why NotNoel and Noel can keep completely separate and opposite lives without one interfering with the other, because for the most part NotNoel is NotNoel, Noel is Noel and even those in the known keep things apart from each other.

The character is *not* the voice actor. The voice actor is *not* the character. I think kson is the highest profile one so far to have attempted to blur the lines and she's into a death spiral of discovery of that exact fact.
To *THIS DAY* people miss Coco, and the same people KNOW it used to be kson "behind the curtain" and, yet, they don't watch her.

It's not the same, kson is not Coco. Cover could give Coco model and all rights FOR FREE to kson today and kson outside of the context that made her what she was between 2019 and 2021 would still not be Coco.
