I don't think there's anything wrong with a big climatic scene but I wanted the ending to somewhat reflect life and be a bit more mundane, but still coincidentally happy. Maybe I could have released the pressure valve a bit more before the end so the ending felt better but the fic was already so long lol. Plus I had written myself into a timeline corner.
I think that if Anon's resolve came from say, a third party rather than the concert, he would have asked Suisei to come with him. She would have said yes too.
I always feel that my endings are the weakest parts of my stories so ill keep working on them.

But in any case, I'm glad to hear the tension worked out. Thanks for reading.
