Try to see it in a fighting game sense. You got your basic combos that fill up your ult meter and then you got 3 different ults to choose from.
Hit monster > charge shield and sometimes sword if you feel like it > ult when you see an opening
It can be very daunting when you try it at first, but you should get the basic combat loop after a few hours and then it's just about figuring all the extra small tidbits they gave you for extra fun.
I belieb in you anon, you can master that blade if you set your mind to it!

I think Mumei just has very solid collab-ability with everyone, she meshes very well and adapts well to her collab partners, even with some of the JPs that half-know english
