One of Millie's deliberate character design choice and charm point is that her hair is supposed to envelop her face so that her hair clips can act as faux cat whiskers.
It slightly disappoints me when a fanartist doesn't realize this and either forgets to draw the hair-clip-cat-whisker or places them way too high and away from her cheeks.
