The govs have done an absolutely splendid job in assimilating the indigenous population. As you say, we recieved treaty rights to build casinos and they quickly became our biggest and most profitable source of income.
The colonists won. Me & my siblings don't know our native language, my parents barely know it/don't speak it. Things like our culture and traditions are slowly fading away from the younger generations, because their either feel like there is no point in carrying on dead traditions, or because of the general state of living most native communities are in.
I'm a full-blooded native, and I find is sad and disappointing that I have no motivation to get to know my people or their histories. The world is too fucked up right now to give a shit about the ancestors that were slaughtered decades, and centuries ago. Yes, it was horrible. Yes, there should be substantial reperations. But motherfucker I got to work a 9-5/6 days a week without missing a day cause I'll end up homeless. I don't have the time, energy, or effort to lend my voice & actions for fair treatment or reperations. I gotta survive first.
Anyways, watching VTubers takes my mind off of all of this. Cute anime girls are the cure for depression.

The streams started out fun and entertaining, but later on as more and more people kept joining, voice chat turned into a garbled mess aside from the voice of whoever's stream you were watching in early rounds until more people got eliminated and removed from voice chat.

Nyan remarked in her stream after leaving the game while other people continued that things got a little overwhelming toward the end and tweeted about it later, Zen's TTS was getting drowned out by everyone else but she was easily the most entertaining player because she was being her usual psychotic self and murdering fucking everyone at every possible chance and Vei just doesn't tend to go out of her way for collabs unless it makes sense for the game like Apex.

I think they'll just back off for a while because Crab Game is probably gonna be the streaming FOTM and it has such a scuffed design that it's actually incredibly unfriendly for streaming large groups due to the quick and sloppy nature of the chat system.

Though it might already be dead in the water, big streamers who were hosting randos from their chats were getting DDoS'd because host IPs are visible to anyone who joins the server. Which is about the top notch security you'd expect from what amounts to Fall Guy's Fortnite BR slapped together in a couple of weeks by one or two guys to capitalize on a Netflix fad.
