Shittiest advice out there. No one popular is doing anything new. Once in a while you'll find someone who did something really new and unique that succeeded due to it, but that's so ridiculously uncommon that it's the exception and not the rule.

Tell me what any of these people do that's "new" or "unique", or anyone successful you know doing something new and unique.
