Same here. I gradually lost interest in having relationships with anyone of any kind after some really bad experiences with people as a whole (abusive family, unreliable friends, etc.) and then getting cheated on when I did get into a romantic relationship. So I settled with being a hikikomori after some time.
I get similar romantic feelings towards the intentional or unintentional GFE chuubas, despite being numb to everything else these past couple of years, but I don't think I'd ever become a schizophrenic about it. I think it helps that I don't use social media, so my only means of interacting with them is through the live chat, and also me recognizing that it's about as artificial as most of my irl relationships have been, and none of it's real.
