I just realized

Since starting her "break", she's actually put out activities nearly as much as she always does. Like really, almost daily. Maybe not solos, but she's consistently doing TCs, Spaces, collabs and solos almost daily. In fact, she's probably putting out content more consistently and with much greater variety than since cr cup 5 to the last tournament she played.

My theory is that she started her "break" as more of a mindset thing, and not literally as a break. To relief stress and workload of having to stream (nearly) every day. Of course there's still a chance for longer break periods before her birthday, but so far it's been almost daily content. So it's not really a break, just kind of tricking her mind to think she's doing less than she actually is or something.

If she keeps this up all the way till her birthday, she's a fucking genius and I will kneel harder than anyone has ever kneeled before. Like seriously she seems to be enjoying her streams so much more too. She was way less "into it" around her million tournaments in a row but now she's doing batch spaces like every other day, popping collabs every other day and filling the rest with solos. What a CHAD

I'm bored as hell and that "saves people the trouble of expecting more from her" part got me thinking, so I actually went to check her amount of Apex streams from recent times for fun. Let's see how much of an Apex only streamer she really is

I Started counting from about the past 3 months, since the end of CR Cup 3 (11 Feb. MC collab with Watame) to her most recent stream. So this frame includes 2 Apex tournaments.

Her Apex streams totaled at 41
Non-Apex at 128
That's about 32% of Apex streams, which admittedly is a lot, not denying that, but it still means you should still expect more non-Apex than Apex. That's 68% of non-Apex where most of the Apex streams are condensed into the span of 2 weeks (tournaments)

Also keep in mind that I counted her Apex GACHA and ZATSU streams as Apex streams as well, even though the game itself is never the main focus in those.
Also one thing to keep in mind is that tournament arcs obviously inflate the number of Apex streams a LOT, since it's basically a week of just Apex practice.
The tournament-related Apex streams total at 20, so about half of all Apex streams from the sample size I'm looking at.
Say you like Matsuri but very much dislike tournaments and Apex. Thankfully she tells you in advance when she'll have a tournament week. Say you skip all of her streams during tournaments arcs and only watch Matsuri outside of tournament arcs.
41-20(tournament streams), that leaves 21 Apex streams in the past 3-ish months.

That means outside of tournaments, you're looking at about 16% of Apex streams from Matsuri. Not too bad, huh? What an Apex only streamer indeed.

And that's only from recent times when she's actually played much more due to participating in tournaments and more frequently. If I had the energy, I could count back to early 2020 when she started playing a lot. I'd be willing to bet the frequency of Apex streams would be even lower, but I can't say for sure of course.

so TL;DR if anything people don't need to expect or wish for non-Apex from her, she already delivers it at a staggering 84% frequency if you skip tournaments.
