Serious answer listen to the game OSTs and read character profiles to find characters you like, playing the games isn't really necessary if you don't like bullet hells but they are very well made and beautiful.
Then go on Youtube and search the japanese name of your favorite Touhou songs to find remixes/arranges from doujin circles.
Play the various doujin games, they fall into all sorts of genres, and read the books, mangas, and doujin books.
Most of Touhou's content is fan-created so you can just go in whatever direction you want based on your own interests.
