Yes, you are never alone. That's actually another reason why people like it here, I think. Even with all the pains, you are sharing a space with people, and you can just say what you want to say. Try saying half the shit people say here in a public place and watch as they recoil. If you showed affection for someone on the street at the same level as the anons that love their oshis here, or even just made comments about liking their physical characteristics, you could be cancelled or branded a fiend. The only other place you can get close to this is in private among close friends.

It seem pointless but I don't think it is. Humans will inherently focus on negative more than the positive. In fact so much so the power of one negative thing can stick with someone far longer than a hundred positive things. But if you don't do it, who will? If you don't become a light in the darkness, who will take up the torch? And most importantly, there is always a chance. I believe that if there's a 1% probability at something, it's actually a 50/50% chance. There is a chance that your oshi, on a bad day, or reading into a hate spiral /here/, sees your post and realizes there are people who unabashedly believes in them or cares about them. So if you love your oshi, and you post on this thread, and can't leave it... Then you have to be the light. I believe this as much as Rosemi is my light in this world I had thought I had given up in.
