Oh it was just my reaction to seeing the same awful collab games: It takes 2, A way out, etc. for every collab. They're fine games, but, I am fucking sick of them.
Fightcade offers a wide range of options for 2 player co-op and competitive: wanna see Bao and Vienna playing R.B.I. baseball 2 for the NES? Well you could do that. Girl_Dm and Haruka playing Thunder Force IV? Easy. Zum and Tob going at it in Time Killers or Bloodstorm? Not a problem.
If you wanna do some "Git good"ing you can do speedruns and score attacks. Trying to make it to EVO, there are some options to do that.
Personally, I like retro/arcade gaming, so I have a bit of a bias. I love new games too I think mixing in some older non-meta stuff would do well. Even if you're dogshit most arcade games are only 30-40 minutes long if you quarter pump, then you can turn it into a 1cc later if you get hooked in. Kinda like how Jump King is all the rage, it's basically a new retro game same with Vampire Survivor. It opens up a world of new options for gaming streams and allows you to check out stuff you'd never get to see naturally even if you're a game collector (considering how terrible the market for retro is currently).
