Alright, I have spare time so lets write about some game shit. I also didn't really proof read the post since its 3600+ character long so enjoy whatever aborted mess it is.

Let's cross off the thing lots of people in the thread like to shitpost about for some reason. Daily adjustments don't include averages, lmfao. I mean, even a little bit of thought would conclude it wouldn't and that design wise it would cause some really fucking wack adjustments. In practise, I haven't observed anything that would even so much indicate this. If anything, big events have indicated this isn't the case because otherwise their daily changes after it would be affected and they haven't been.

Next point would be that people really love to underestimate the importance of subs. They have a bigger weighing in the algos which people kinda figured at the start, especially for divvies. From my observations, subs are likely some sort of modifier to the value generated from views. This is particular clear with the fact that I haven't observed subs being compared to the previous day. If anything, I've observed very clearly subs not being compared. I can give an entire paragraph about this, but I won't. It's best if you pay attention to the trend data. Although it being a modifier is only a theory on my part and to extend it before the current economy, I estimated that subs were about 8k - 10k views/1k subs. It gave a solid amount of accuracy except when daily view differences get very close to each other. If you want to seriously play the game and catch ups and downs you need to pay a lot of attention to the subs counter. The 1m+ view girls gaining like 100 - 200k less views doesn't mean she is going to go down if she has gained the 10k subs. I've seen it happen multiple times with them getting 100 - 300$ gain from this.

Probably the most important thing for adjustment is that the SIZE of views gained matters. Daily difference is clearly a factor but it considers how big the actual numbers are. A girl can get 1000 views one day and the next she gets 20000 views, with this you have Nene tier difference at 2000%. Except, because the values are low she'll at best go up like 50$. Gura was at 800% but she would have gained upwards to about $3000 - $5000 because she hit 1.5m. This is, of course, ignoring the fact the bull/bear market mechanic exists so she as I estimated as writing this post only went up about 2k because 750 got fucking bought yesterday. To put it simply, any big event will be permanently fucked as people will buy absurd quantities which effectively negates the the size of the views. On the other hand, any restored videos that goes unnoticed will generate obscene amounts of money that will then proceed to tank back down just as hard because of how big and small the numbers are.

I've had a bunch of things I thought of to list but I've forgot it all so lets get to the main meat. With the way the game works holo.poi should be the only thing you need for data as its what the game uses. The view data comes at about 8am jst to 10am everyday unless you are mori who gets 2 updates a day. Sometimes it might be at 11am or even at 6am. Subs are checked multiple times a day so for people like EN, possible spikes are massively cucked from the lack of subs to go with the views. The front page of the site doesn't properly update the stats and will regularly display both days stats added together before finally showing the actual day value. Now, how do I know this? It doesn't seem like most people have actually properly noticed considering how often people keep scrambling about for data or use social blade. But, just click on the holo icon and you get the holos data and the time shit updates at.
