It was heavily rumoured that Shimada was going to join Tsunderia as part of their initial plan for Gen 2 (known as Tsunderia Noir at the time) after she left her previous group, and there was quite a lot of circumstantial evidence that seemed to line up.
Although this never ended up happening, a lot of people still believe that it was intended to at some point before the plan fell through, due to how infamously botched and rushed the production of Tsunderia's actual Gen 2 (known as Re/Verse) was and how it took Shimada well over a year to actually join another group, Duskward (which is the same group that Char joined after leaving Tsunderia).
There was a lot of memeing about the whole saga, which ultimately led to her getting a goalie spot on /tsunX/'s divegrass squad and helping to secure the team's win in the last league.
TL;DR I love this tiger!
