I hope so. But it's hard to say something definitely has caused them to grow apart, but the little bit of Mario Kart where they were grouped with Korone shows they can go right back into old buddies without shit being awkward. And I think the friend ship will be over when they stop following eachother with their old personas on Nico.
Side note it's cute the only person Peko follows is Miko and noone else.
